While out scavenging one day, Davidson and Reggie spotted a lone coatl who seemed to have collapsed from exhaustion in the desolate badlands. After hauling him back to the den for some food and water, they learned that the coatl, named Fiolfa, had gotten caught in a terrible storm while crossing the ocean from the Southern Icefield to Ashfall Waste. Barely able to control his flight in the howling gales, he was blown right past the Ashfall Waste and into the Shifting Expanse, damaging one of his wings in the landing. Wandering around and weakened from the storm with nothing to eat or drink, Fiolfa eventually passed out in the territory near the Voltitech lair. Luckily, his burnished orange feathers were quickly spotted by Davidson, who was always on the lookout for something shiny to collect.

Since he was clearly an Ice dragon, his intended destination naturally led to some questions about why he was travelling. It turned out that Fiolfa had previously managed money for a rather successful business, before it went under due to a territory war disrupting supply lines. Left to restart his life, Fiolfa had decided to visit some relatives in the Ashfall Waste in hopes that they might know someone in need of a treasurer. However, his plans were quite literally thrown to the wind now that he was stranded in unfamiliar territory for the foreseeable future.

But Morrow, having heard his situation and verified the validity of his documents, offered Fiolfa a job as the clan's treasurer. With the constant expansion of the Voltitech Corps, Morrow needed a new employee to help manage the clan's finances. Though this proposition took him completely by surprise, Fiolfa vigorously accepted his new position. Somehow, the tempest that had almost ruined his life had turned into a blessing in disguise. The technicians even whipped up a pair of mechanical wings to offset his injuries.

Nowadays, Fiolfa and Davidson are often seen together, as both have a burning passion to hoard shiny objects. They often hang out in the storage rooms or the vault, carrying out their various duties to manage the clan's hoard of wealth.


Tends to keep to the cooler parts of the lair since he still prefers heavy clothing even in a desert.

His crash landing permanently affected his wings, leading the technicians to whip up a pair of mechanical wings to offset his injury. Without them, he has a hard time flying and can barely manage to glide on his own.
