Biography

Reclaimer - Outlaw - High tier nature mage - DANGEROUS

Allies - Nathair & Co
Personal Friends - Luna, Reldith, The other skydancers
Personal foes - Fate, Crocodile, Kierra
Enemies - Kierra Four Claws & co, a large amount of native Nature, Earth, and especially Plague dragons.

Chaotic neutral - I'm willing to do whatever it takes, regardless of if it helps people or hurts them, in pursuit of my own goals. Side against me- I'll bring you down. Side with me? Well, then you're just along for the ride.

"The enemy of my enemy is my ally. You are not my friend."
"Life is a parasite on the world. What else can this spread to?"
"Nature reclaims all things, at the end of the day."

.:General:.
A top tier nature mage, has some of the most powerful magic seen in a long while - sort of.
He doesn't have much in the way of raw power, in fact very little. His offensive capabilities in that respect are a moot point. His true strength lies in the intricate and delicate way he's turned his magic from a gentle healing and growing force, as is with many nature mages, to something that more closely resembles the runaway evolution of Plague.

He has learned to use magic to fuse dragon, plant, and fungi, created ungodly abominations. Inspired by the legends of the undead, he has learned to create his own sort of zombie - an amalgamation of plant and animal, dead and alive, dying and growing. His creations are volatile, dangerous, and nearly mindless, but he can control them through his magic. His abilities technically make him a necromancer, but it's debatable if what he creates count as returning to life or being used as a host for it.

He believes, no he knows, that Nature and Plague are closer than they would each admit, and has created a force that survives and adapts beyond anything either flight has produced, sapping magic and life from anything it contacts, surviving against all odds. His creations even share a connected memory through plant life; they can communicate over vast distances by way of mycelium and plant roots. The only way to cut off their communication, both from Reclaimer and from eachother, is to imprison them in an area away from light, water, magic, or other plant or fungal life. This is a more difficult task than it may initially seem. Plant life is everywhere, in the water, in the air, in your food- and fungal life is nearly omnipresent. A completely sterile environment is mandatory if one intends to destroy one of his creations- anything at all that it can feed from, it will, parasitizing anything and everything it can, even if it means the death of a host.

.:Effects:.
His magic has warped beyond normal control and even begun to physically affect him- He has symbiotic growths on his body that he can influence. He always carries some sort of extra plant life on him- whether or not it is long dead is no consequence to him. All you need is the dark, natural matter, and a little bit of water..

His magic also affects areas he lives in, mostly intentionally. Anywhere he's called home for more than a few weeks is visible as twisted and unnatural plants and fungi line the area, like the wandering contagion but verdant and blooming. It's advised to wear something covering at least your mouth, nose, eyes, and any and all wounds if spending a lot of time around him, especially if you have very powerful magic. He's been immune to his own creations for a long, long time now, but for someone unused to his hybrid terrors, spores can cause... Issues.

.:Social:.
He's a force to be reckoned with, but if you do not actively pit yourself against him, he will bear you no ill will. Be aware that he has no such thing as a friend besides a very particular few, and those he truly calls Friends he will defend to the death.. and beyond. Currently his only true friends consist of the other scientists, and a creature he claims to be able to see and speak to he calls Incarnate. No dragon has ever seen this 'Incarnate', but areas seem to become definitively colder when Reclaimer speaks to him..

To another skydancer, one who may be trying to read his emotions, he isn't the easiest target. He makes any empath feel rather nauseated.

He's not cruel by any means, just curious and wanting to learn what he can do.
Besides, he only intentionally affects the dead.
It's not his fault if you stick to close without asking and his creations like you.

.:Services:.
Can reanimate your loved ones for you, provided a few things:
- He doesn't dislike you
- None of his reanimations dislike you
- Incarnate trusts you

- Your friend/loved one/mentor/otherwise dead dragon has been gone less than a week
- You pay him
+ Payment is usually in something exotic, like a very rare flower, fungus, or creature.

.:Border:.
Reclaimer keeps tabs on the entire area surrounding the main caves where he and the others live. Everything, from the bamboo to the trees to the ground you stand on, is covered by a fine network of organisms that relay massive amounts of information to him, like billions of tiny tripwires blanketing every square inch for miles.

If you are close enough to see full growth, you best turn tail and run. Run and run and don't come back, because if he let you get that close it's because he wants you alive. You never want to have that kind of interaction, not with what happened to the last dragon to go missing in the area...

Poem by the insanely talented @Eurydise (#322181)!

Reclaimer
In the world of life,
A world that is supposed to be,
For the living,
There is so much death.
And he has surrounded himself,
With those who have been sparked again.
They are strange,
Twisted things.
His strength,
The way he alters,
And blurs clear set lines.
It’s unnatural.
But it’s what he knows.
You won’t care about blurring such lines,
If the one you loved was gone.
And he is willing to do so.
Just perhaps be careful.
The dead can have their own effects,
On those still living.

His life bored him to no end, and when some of his harvest had gone bad he started experimenting with the growing fungi to alleviate some of his boredom.

As soon as he started using magic on them, he devoted more and more time, until he had developed his ability nearly to full. When he really understood what he was doing, he started testing his abilities on beastclans- a failure- and then dragons. It took him far more attempts than he would have liked, but eventually he was successful, leading to the reanimation of his first creation, who's long since gone.

Then, of course, he was found out; it's rather difficult to keep a plant-fungi-dragon symbiote/host zombie thing hidden, especially when it follows you around like a lost puppy while trying to regain it's memory, and Reclaimer was promptly tossed out of the clan.

Welcome to the Secret Skydancer Society. If you've gotten this close, don't bother turning back now. He's already seen you.
