spirit is the apprentice of navy. born from an egg under a pink supermoon, spirit was at first an orphan, with no family to call her own. one night, alone and shivering in a small burrow in the earth, she was discovered by svana who had been out on a patrol for the night. feeling pity for the hatchling, svana took her back to the clan's grounds, and took her to navy so he could check for sicknesses and wounds. navy nursed the small hatchling back to health, and ended up essentially becoming a father to her.

the imperial dragon wasn't used to fatherhood in the slightest, but he did his best, because he wanted this hatchling to have the childhood he never had. spirit ended up taking after him quite a lot, though her attitude towards the clan are different than her attitude towards her adoptive father, since she tries to look mysterious and wise to her clan-mates. as she grew, she found she had an affinity for magic, so she decided she wanted to follow in her father's footsteps.

as an apprentice, she helps navy to heal and care for other dragons, as well as learning magical spells and trying to become a prophet like him. earning prophetic powers is very difficult; right now, she can only see small blurry glimpses into the future, after which she gets a horrible headache. spirit is determined, however, to one day be as great as her adoptive father!

spirit tends to change her personality based on who she's talking to. when talking to navy and her close friends, she is often quite upbeat and excitable. she makes it no secret how much she cares for those close to her. however, around clan-mates and those she doesn't know as well, she prefers to take on a more quiet and mysterious tone. she does her best to stay calm and level-headed, always wanting to look professional and wise, though sometimes her true personality can sneak through.
