Elemental hybrids are a commodity that have slowly become more common than they once were, as more and more clans with mixed elemental inhabitants and relations form. This is especially true for those located on the borders between Flights. While some dragons born with access to two elements display traits of each as separate entities, others' manifest as an amalgamation of both, creating something familiar yet entirely new.

ELEMENT dragons are one example of the latter, born from the union of Shadow and Lightning.

Rai and Sycora are a mischievous duo who have carved out a reputation for themselves as being efficient but unpredictable warriors. They travel throughout the Tangled Wood and Shattered Expanse, offering their services to guard caravans and traders. Most make it to their final destination and coin is happily exchanged for a job well done. Others, however, disappear entirely, with no record of what happened to them, where they came from, or where they were headed.

It's in both dragons' natures to do whatever it takes to get a leg up in the world, including stealing every resource they can get their claws on that they can use for their inventions or to simply hoard away. Every once in a while, they take a break from their travels and return to a safehouse on the border of their favored territories and focus on only themselves and the family they raise.
