Shade Hunter xxx
While many would consider coming into contact with the Shade and succumbing to the state of being Shaded a curse and something to avoid, Garthim and Dormire have embraced the widely feared entity. The two Shade hunters made a deal with a less destructive strain, trading particular senses in exchanged for enhanced abilities. They have since used these abilities to aid in their hunting of Shaded dragons and monsters alike that would seek to bring ruin to those around them. This pact born in darkness has spread to their hatchlings, and the two fathers do their best in teaching them how to hone and properly utilze their skills.
Some are born without a physical voice, their vocal chords coated in black and rendered useless. Instead, they have a telepathic voice they can broadcast impressive distances, and they can connect with even the most feral of Shade creature in order to predict their movements, literally getting into their heads.
Others are born without sight, their eyes displaying either blackened sclera or entirely black voids. Despite this, they can see everything on the astral plane and beyond, and can tell at a glance who carries the Shade within them. From their perspective, dragons appear as varying sizes of orbs, the color depending on the individual's element. Other creatures without elemental alignment have the same appearance, only their orbs are various shades of pale grey. They are particularly dangerous for those who try to disguise themselves in order to be unassuming in their mission for harming others.
