Hallow

Since the war was over now, Hallow was off on his own, discovering and exploring the world. It had been many months before he had thought about finding a permanant place to stay, but he was hearing rumors of a mysterious new dragon species who seemed to be just mysteriously appearing. Could this be the dawn of a new age...?
Hallow would continue his search before finding... an egg? It was nothing he had ever seen before though. What dragon was this? He couldn't just.... leave it there. He picked it up, looking around to see if there were any nests or dragons around. He softly set the egg in his satchel, lifting off to search from the sky.
After lots of unsuccessful searching, he had to find a place for the night. He found a small cave, gathering some wood to start a fire. He took the egg from his satchel, examining it. He couldn't place it. After being all around the world, Hallow had met many different kinds of dragons, and he knew what their eggs looked like. But this? Could it be?
"Veilspun." he breathed.
The name was familiar. Though many dragons were just talking about them now... that name... he had heard it before.
Hallow looked outside, examining the stars. It had to be pretty late.He set the egg next to him, wrapping his tail around this. Whatever this was, he would just have to wait to find out...
