quick look Hubris has always been dedicated to her life as a guardian. Despite being abandoned by her hatch-family for her inability to find a Charge. She spent decades wandering, searching for something to begin her life for. Eventually, during her search, she was attacked, and in her pained, bleeding haze, she staggered into a grove of breathing, thriving crystals. A dragon, not quite a dragon as she would later find out, assisted in her healing, even though the majority of those wounds were consumed and sealed by the living crystal. As she would find out when later lucid, this place would become her Charge, and the dragon-not-dragon later, her mate. She has spent a century here, and she will spend a century more. |
