Scarves are a good, practical accessory to have. Except it's hot weather. You would question it, except you're caught off guard by an offering of candy. You're not supposed to take candy from strangers, but oh! What a charismatic smile. On second thought, maybe it's a bit manic. Extremely so, even. Maybe you've just exchanged words, possibly a conversation, but who can really tell. The stranger with the old eyes and youthful face left you feeling more confused than ever, but his presence was oddly reassuring. There's something strange going on, and you can't tell if he's here because of the strange events or if the strange events were brought on by him. Who did he say he was? Some kind of physician? A healer of sorts?
