Biography

Haunt; bringer of storms and gatekeeper of The Motherlands

34498499_rDjLT0H1bcVNWjH.png
His face haunts the memories of all who see it.

Newcomers are picked up at the parlor and brought to the Motherlands, where they will be judged. If they prove themselves to be worthy they get to stay... but if not

will hopefully revamp, this writing is definitely first draft and needs some work
Haunt lived his entire life hidden away on a large, icy mountain. The parents he once had carefully placed him onto a chunk of ice. Never to return... Haunt still wonders to this day who or why he was left.
But he does believe it had something to do with his grotesque appearance. Ever since he entered the Southern Icefield everyone he had known ran away. Leaving him to fend for himself.
Everything he knows is self taught, including his incredible abilities to bend the sky to his will. While these powers weren't the strongest, they were enough to keep away anything that tried to come near him. Snowstorms, lighting, you name it, he's able to control weather for a short period of time.

Eventually though, he grew extremely isolated... there was something missing. So, he tried to go back into the Icefields but yet again he was considered a monster. So he began a mission to find somewhere he'd belong.

Going through at least seventy places, Haunt felt as if there would be nowhere he'd belong to. He was very deep into the contagion when he began to see what appeared to be a forest? Confused, he trekked forward only to be met with a u shaped arrangement of houses. It was the dead of night and no one was awake, or so he thought.

Believing that there was a chance the place was abandoned, he walked into the middle house. Surprised to find a young spiral with his head down and hand writing.
"Take a seat."
Startled that the hatchling knew he was there, he decided to comply. Sitting down unevenly on the rickety floorboards.
The young spiral had still not lifted his head, making Haunt even more on edge. Prepared to make a run for it, the hatchling looked up. He said nothing and instead again focused on the scroll he was writing on.

"Do you know what this is?"
Haunt was again surprised to hear the voice of the young spiral again. It was so drained and so robotic that it no longer resembled anything of youth.

"No. No I do not."
The conversation paused a few moments, and then,
"This is the list of every resident in this coven. Each who must either be of great importance or a creature with freakish power."

But before he could say a word, "-and you just happen to be one of those."
Nothing else was said, but the hatchling did give a paper to him. It had extremely rushed handwriting, but you could still make out what it said. "You will be staying in This House." there was a arrow pointing to a house labelled Death. How inviting.

Though he was very, very tired and he didn't really have a choice, he still hesitaited to enter the home. The doorknob even appeared to be an actual skull. Yet, he still used it to crack the door open, glancing in. No one appeared to be in there, so he entered a lot less cautiously than before. SWOOSH, something tangled around him with holes all over it. He panicked and started struggling to get the trap off of him. Even jumping to the wildest conclusions in his head.

"Okay trespasser! Time to meet your maker!" A voice rushed towards him and before he knew it, a wildclaw came busting through the doorway. But abrupty halted when she saw Haunt, "Woah, no one THAT ugly would be a tresspasser!" she always was incredibly blunt. She didn't even hide her snickerings, but she did help get her trap off of haunt.

"So, I'm gonna guess that you got assigned to my house!" She immeadiently added after getting the final piece of net off of him. "I- I believe so, though it might be a mistake," Aka, he really hoped it was a mistake. "Awesome! Let me show you around!" And instead of sleeping, Haunt spent the night chatting with the strangest wildclaw he'd ever met.
