★★★ LIGHTNING VEILS
The heat of the night, darkness covering the stars, there suddenly erupts brilliant, jagged bolts of bright blue lightning that races over the blackness of the sky. The Gods knew what they were doing when they breathed Life into this ancient beings and gave them the powers over the storm. Electricity is their gift, as brilliant and stunning as the lightning patterns that mark their graceful forms. To see one is mesmerizing, to have one join your lair, a stroke of good luck; for they are a sign of great things to come.

★★★ PERSONALITY
Small in size, but huge in heart and soul, Lightning Veils are mischievous and fun-loving, intelligent, brave, and full of good humor. They bring good luck wherever they go. They have very strong ties to family and clan, and will do anything to make someone happy. They are empathic and easily feel the emotions of those around them, especially of those closest to them. But to anger one is to bring on the fury of the storm and all its destructive nature. When a Lightning Veil is scorned, they do not forgive or forget, sometimes holding that feeling for a long time before unexpectedly unleashing it upon whomever has wronged them.

★★★ HISTORY
Shivan is the founding Sire of the Lightning Veils. He, along with his mate, Chade, were blessed with the powers of the storm and within that, bred, to produce the first of the Lightning Veil hatchlings to go out into the world. Their hope is to spred the joy and beauty of their kind out into the realm for all to experience. To know a true Lightning Veil is to bask in the deepest Obsidian within its Primary and Secondary, and be in awe of the brilliance of the Cyan lightning that marks it its birthright.
