Biography
Keeper of the Grove, Knower of Secrets
Kaber possesses no tangible form and is incredibly difficult to discern with mortal eyes. To some, they are showers of rainbows that traverse through the plains like shards of glass... Or to others, they are the swirling color of dusk shifting through the being they are addressing. As such, Kaber rarely shows themselves, sometimes even to their siblings—a heavy price from the unsurmountable weight of knowing all—one who was born before creation, so the gap between this very world and him was immense.
She hated it, truly. This distance. This difference. Why could they not have followed along with them naturally so...? But these yearning feelings dispersed when Kaber was reminded of what mortality truly means. Before the Eldest met death, they had never understood the emotion of grief, couldn't grasp why mortals would grieve over anything and everything...
Until Kaber realized that death was permanent. They weren't coming back.
That was grief.
Perhaps it was this revelation that turned the Supreme Being a little bitter. Kaber's inflictions and mind shifted—they would protect and nurture within a grove... They will become the keeper and serve all to bring forth a paradise. They recognized that death would be inevitable, but at least it will be a beautiful death, after a guaranteed long life. A blissful, bittersweet ending.
Yes, this is what Kaber knew and practiced. For this was their duty as The Guardian Angel and Keeper of the Grove. She is here to protect. He is here to serve... They are here, forever... And it was their secret.
