When Blaze found the small spiral egg nobody thought it would survive more than a day in the harsh desert biome, seeing as it was an ice egg, yet it did. The King and his guard were transporting goods to the second clan of Wafalen, when they stopped to rest. Blaze, as usual, wandered off into the frigid lands of the IceWarden. Glancing in the direction of a pretty tall glacier something caught his eye, his own reflection, but as he drew closer he saw a tiny black egg, frozen in the ice. Using his fiery breath he melted the glacier down and he was able to see the egg a bit better. Perhaps one of the ice clan members had misplaced their egg? No, they wouldn't do that. That's when he noticed the little red crack in the side of the egg. Suddenly it all made sense. Maybe. Could it be that this little eggs mother had been taken by the plague? That was more likely then some dragon misplacing their egg. He carefully picked up the egg in his talons and flew back to the campsite.

Teribus was named for all the terrible things that happened when he arrived at the clans den. Several dragons died from the plague before the healers could brew the cure. Slowly the other dragons adjusted to his arrival and welcomed him into the clan. He was still an outcast in some of the other hatchlings eyes, especially Denar who was known to dislike many things but Teribus the most. Teribus was always the most comfortable around RoseDust. The two rarely spent any time apart and when they did it wasnt out of choice. When he was old enough to begin his training, many dragons "retired" for the year, leaving Blaze to handle all of Teribus's training. Teribus easily caught on to most everything but sometimes his mind wandered and he zoned out, or he lost his patience. Sometimes he would try to sneak into the healers den and see what they were brewing, but all that got him was a swat of the tail from Quil.
