Cernunnos is a being that is able to hear the future fate of all creatures – as long as he does never see with his own eyes. If the old Cernunnos dies, the new one is born. He binds his eyes and blinds himself, he does neither eat nor drink and spends his life meditating peacefully.
The present Cernunnos is living in an old temple under a lake, which is guarded by swan-women and a shapeshifter.
The tattoo on his chest is the symbol for the infinity of his being; a circle above a bowl.

The Cernunnos will never take sides in the struggles of the demons or humans, but he is bound to the promise to tell every visitor about his fate once in the visitor's life.
If someone, good or wicked, comes to see him, the Cernunnos picks the part of his destiny that is already set and will predict this future. His prophesies are mostly unintelligible as fate does not give names or clear descriptions and the Cernunnos will not tell names or make clear statements either. But his prophecies are mostly miserable ones and his service is rarely used by the demons.
