Biography
Junayd is known for his impeccable fighting skills, superior camouflage, and cold glare. He mainly works to protect the dragons of the Derelict, even if many don’t like him for his attitude. When he isn’t training, the imperial is either asleep or near Delisha. Some have begun to question the strange warmth in his eyes when he sees the pearlcatcher.
“Can I help you…?” the imperial questioned, narrowing his eyes at the positively vibrant dragon. There was a sort of twinkle in her eyes, like a spark of hope that kept others aflame. He could tell immediately he was not going to like this dragon. Just at a glance, Junayd pinned her as the “talks too much and at twice the volume” kind of person.
“I’m Delisha!” the colorful and-- as Junayd had assumed-- loud dragon said sweetly, mimicking his expression has she tried to read him. “And you are…?”
“Junayd,” he said with a sigh, preparing himself to zone out before Delisha could even begin to blabber. He had mastered the art of daydreaming thanks to his experiences with Mehreen on caffeine, but tuning the new dragon out would likely be a worthy challenge.
“Nice to meet you, Junayd!” Delisha smiled; something that seemed intoxicating to Junayd for reasons beyond his comprehension. “That’s a pretty name, by the way. I like it!”
“It’s nice to meet you too, Delisha.” Maybe he was wrong. Perhaps not all loud dragons-- visually and verbally-- were unbearable. This one seemed quite alright.
Meeting Delisha
“Hellooooo!” a colorful pearlcatcher chirped as she approached Junayd with a bubbly attitude and equally as obnoxious appearance.“Can I help you…?” the imperial questioned, narrowing his eyes at the positively vibrant dragon. Just at a glance, Junayd pinned her as the “talks too much and at twice the volume” kind of person.
