“Welcome, welcome! You’re new here aren’t you?”

A female wildclaw excitedly bounces up to you. “We don’t get dragons here often, you see. All of them want to go up to... those folks. Not you though right? I can see it! Now, now, come on! I’ll show you to the other residents here...”

You’re a little overwhelmed, but follow the wildclaw regardless. She talks as you both walk along the beaten road.

“So what’s your name? Oh wait- I didn’t tell you mine, did I? How rude of me! I’m North!”

You respond with your own name, North looks over to you ecstatic.

“Awesome! I reckon I should tell you about Grimlore here. It’s not so bad as some dragons say. Most of us are really friendly, like me!”

You’re still extremely confused on how you got here on the first place, and you ask her exactly that.

“What do you mean? You don’t know? You’re dead! Well, I’m pretty sure you’re dead. You can’t get here if you’re not dead. Unless.. you’re not some alien thing are you?”

Alien thing? She glances at your face and quickly answers.

“We had some weird cat alien appear from a random portal entrance, you see. It had three heads! It was a really interesting experience. Okay okay. I should really start telling you about our residents here! So, we first have Crow! He’s kind of our leader here. He’s a bit senile but he means well.”

You ask her more about Crow, he might know how you got here. You’re pretty sure you didn’t die.. yet.

“I’m not too sure how long he’s been here, I just know he’s been here longer than any of us!” North exclaims, “I tried to ask him once, but he just snorted at me!”

You both soon enter your destination. It seems to be a village? There’s an old sign near the entrance that reads ‘Welcome to Grimlore!’. Just below it reads ‘officially’.

After a bit of inspecting the entrance area, you look up to see North waving at you from a little ahead.

“Come along! We must not waste time!”
