Ekolon
The Traveler ◉ Admirer of the Now ◉ The Sly
LujlJ4p.png "Hmmm..." a deep voice echoed. The guardian's eyes swept over the land, curious and intrigued. "Different... so very... different..." No matter where he looked, nature flourished. Natural fauna, flora, and even earth surrounded him. It was not what he was used to. He was out of his environment here. The echoes of cold steel and whirring mechanisms were now only a memory—though at least the lightning remained the same. He watched the small sparks with interest, each one different from the other.

The machines here were primitive. He expected that the portal would bring him somewhere like this, but he didn't realize how unfamiliar it would be. He glanced back to the portal, calculating blue eyes narrowed as he cycled through equations in his head. The chances of returning to his home were slim—next to nothing, even. Strangely, he grinned. He turned away from the arcane wasteland and set out into the world, muttering to himself:

"Never did like that place."

Ekolon is a guardian from the future. More specifically, a dystopian future where Lightning went a little too far with their machines. He fled through a portal, though it's unclear whether he ended up in the past or perhaps another world all together. Either way, he can tell right away that this world will be an improvement—even if it's several hundred thousand years behind.
