Farewell my moonchild

12 years and 19 days you've lived with us since I was given you, or since fate made us cross our paths.

Since you were small you managed to make me stand up and move on. To resist against whatever life put on my way.

You were the one that make me wake up to study on my first year even when I was tired because of not stopping to rest and continued studying for 2 years in a row.

You were the one that re activated the life of our old lab.

You were the one that made my sis company while I wasn't at home. Then you became a replacement for me to my parents, making them happy of having someone like me at home.

You were the one that played with grandma on her last days and keep on making her smile.

You were the one that made me stand up once again after I broke my foot. You literally were the only one there while I was in pain and wanted to give up on everything because I didn't see a way out...yet you stood near me and left me cry on your neck floof when I couldn't cope with pain any longer.

Yet disease is a nightmare and managed to reach you in this freaking quarentine times. I couldn't reach and see you once again thanks to stupid restrictions on my country...but you remained stoic and didn't complain. You tried to endure this, yet your body was giving up.

Tonight was the night, my moon child, my Shadow. The night were full moon finally called you to her side. The night you are finally free from pain. The night were you crossed the rainbow bridge to the other side.

I hope to see you when my time arrives.
