A popular location to enjoy an evening treat, the Sorneith Shave Ice parlor is full of life and sweet energy. The busy little shop hustles and bustles as the orders are prepped and filled. The quickly moving Nocturne behind the counter happily douses her creations in bright colored syrups and all those within are cheerfully enjoying their selections. It is the most popular venue in the lair, and it is frequented by many denizens of the Fortress of Ends.

Tonight a couple of dragons, Perla and Granada, are peering into the counter area, requesting a special treat; Pomegranate, a sweet concoction of Sweet Cherries and Tart Cranberries, with hints of Blueberry. They watch the spectacle of its production with eager anticipation, and wait patiently for the call, “Orders Up!”.

Perla and Granada are unable to speak to one another, but the affection that they share is solid and loving. This mute pairing have created their own language, unique in Sornieth, that none of their clanmates have been able to decipher. Is it their glances, or movements? Perhaps subtle tones or purring? It is unknown. However, they know each other well, and are excellent parents. Offspring from this pairing will be excellent listeners, and are keen students of nuance. They have been known to eat too many sweets.
