A sky full of stars. This curious coatl was named Dream after his parents noticed how the hatchling spent the hours of sunlight sleeping. No, it wasn’t because he was a sleepyhead, but rather because he found it useless to be awake while the sun was up and stealing the spotlight to the gorgeous starry night veil. His plumage resembled it for a reason, after all. Years passed and he spent his nights studying every single bright spot he could find in the sky. All the patterns, all the constellations, Dream knew of them. One of his brothers once asked him where the north was, to which Dream replied with no issue. And that’s how he found his love for astronomy useful for his fellow dragons. He made the tower where he lived open for visitors who needed a guide. Dream would ask the stars, and so they would reply with (mostly) perfect accuracy. Who needs the Sun when the night is covered in hundreds of thousands of extra stars, after all?.
One day Dream was visited by a female coatl, and he was instantly cautivated by the starry plumage of hers. Her name was Periwinkle. He offered her all the commodities his tower could offer, and after some days of staying with her, he finally asked her; “Would you like to spend the rest of your nights with me?”
