Biography
Trove is quite the unique Coatl, in many more ways than one. While he does speak broken Coatl, most of what he speaks is a strange, unusual language no one's heard of before. Fellow Coatls look at him and shrug; the most they've gotten out of him is that he comes from sort of rainforest. Inquiries if he means the Viridian Labyrinth or the Tangled Wood are met with a blank, but happy smile, showing clearly that he has no idea what anyone's saying.
While one might assume his disconnect with other dragons would cause him strife, Trove actually is quite happy. Some dragons say it's because he doesn't realize no one can understand him, and others say it's just part of his personality. Whatever the reason, Trove always has a smile on his face and listens intently to anyone who talks to him, even though he can't understand any of it.
Trove disappears from the lair sometimes. Lady Marre has forbidden anyone from following him, and so no one quite knows where he goes, but he always returns with pawsful of treasure and trinkets. He keeps them all in chests littered around his sleeping area, which are quite full of jewels and treasure. Trove actually holds about ninety percent of the clan's wealth, and Lady Marre goes to him if she needs money for anything.
Trove, while on his expeditions, is always as happy-go-lucky as always, flying along with a smile and waving to any dragons he passes. He doesn't have the burning desires of an adventurer, but insteads explores at his own pace, calm and slow. When he finds treasure, he's incredibly pleased.
He takes a lot of joy in the simpler things in life, like passing butterflies and finding pencils on the ground. It's not from naivety, but rather from just understanding that all life is precious and not taking anything for granted. And while no one understands what he says, everyone likes him anyways. They can just sense the goodness in him.
