______ One night, years ago, cloaked in the shadow of the forest, Evening emerged. So small that she slipped right past the guards, the young spiral was only a baby when she took up shelter in the caves of the lotus eaters. As she grew, so too did her penchant for chaos. The clan began waking up to find their belongings scattered about the clan. Scribbles on dragons scales, missing food, and random bumps in the night. Evening, bit by bit, began to sow distrust amongst the clan, who began to point claws at one another.

______ Eventually, Dart, the ghouslish leader of the clan set out to find the true perpetrator, in order to bring her clan back together. She left trinkets covered in glittering unicorn dust (courtesy of Lacewing) out in her cave, and sure enough, along came Evening, snatching it up. But as the spiral dragged the trinket back to her hidden den, she left trails of glitter, which in the morning, Dart followed to find her. Dart however felt bad for the young, family-less spiral, and made a deal with her. Evening was welcome to stay with the clan, and help cause trouble for invaders, but not for the lotus eaters.
