Seiza
"Power without restraint births destruction"

Seiza is a powerful enchantress known for her mysterious and arcane talents. Born during the purest and most arcane moments of the Starfall Celebration, she is said to have been birthed by the stars themselves. She is kind and patient, but quiet and reserved. Seiza is intimidating to those who don't know her well, as she is silent and reserved by nature. She is by no means shy, but prefers to observe from a distance. Her observation skills are baffling, and she can read almost any person instantly, without even the slightest use of her magic. She has no assistant in her studies, and prefers to work alone. Even the few apprentices she's had saw seldom of her during their studies. She has no desire to form any relationships with her students, and only teaches out of a sense of duty and obligation to passing on her knowledge of the arcane.

| Once every year, Seiza holds a choosing ceremony to select a new ward. She only accepts one apprentice at a time, and will not hold a ceremony if an apprentice is currently studying under her. Although she continues to hold these ceremonies, she rarely deems any dragon worthy of becoming her apprentice. Many believe this is due to her vanity and judgmental nature towards others, but this is far from the truth. Seiza takes her abilities very seriously, and is cautious in choosing only responsible dragons, who know not to abuse their powers. Her current ward is Nikolai, whom she chose for his sacrificial and compassionate nature. While Nikolai is discouraged time and time again by his lack of talent, Seiza is patient and persistent, though she secretly suspects that he lacks the gift of magic. She doesn't let him know this, and for whatever reason, she doesn't seem to mind either. Nikolai is the first dragon Seiza has taken a liking to in many years, and she wants to help him fulfill his dream. Deep down, she secretly hopes he'll never learn, for she delights in the company of the young boy, (though she would never admit this to herself, or anyone else). |
