Biography
He loves gardening and tending to flowers and nature, he also loves any kind of insectish familiars as well. He wishes to put as many flowers and plants on himself as possible on day

Flurish’s story chapter 1:
From a young age, Flurish has enjoyed gardening. The Shifting Expanse may be dry, but for him it’s a good place to plant things. His interest in plants often led him to discover new ones or get into trouble of some sort, a majority of the time both. His habit and hobby of covering himself with plants began around the time he started getting more interested in bugs. Familiars especially. He could never bring himself to eat any (he’s a Coatl anyways), even when dared by other clanmates. Flurish will always be a plant lover. But the fact that he worked alone changed one day, after he met a gorgeous Spiral named Hiwarau.
Chapter 2:
They became mates, as well as coworkers, in a way. At the time this story was written, the two had 3 Spiral children, each one exalted to the ranks of the Shadowbinder, despite coming from a Lightning clan. Their parents live on without visible traces of unhappiness, luckily. Hiwarau brings new plants and seeds, Flurish cares for them, Skysa (the Coatl’s familiar) helps out, and that’s the way this whole thing goes.
Anyways, I assume reading all this somewhat obvious info and vague backstory is quite boring at this point. So here’s a bit more detailed description of this guy’s life.
Chapter 3:
Flurish’s parents, Clarity and Skyscale, were just perfectly normal dragons in a Shadow clan. Just um, don’t tell him that 8 of his 9 siblings were exalted- anyways, he and his half-sister Ryuko would play together, like normal dragonets. But when they weren’t playing, Flurish would probably be somewhere else in the clan camp, checking out the plants and reciting to himself the names in both Coatl and Dragon. Because of his difference compared to the others, he was almost exalted like most of his other siblings. Luckily he wasn’t, and was instead brought to a lovely new clan instead, and it’s even in a whole different Flight. It’s honestly even better for gardening, considering the small amount of plants in the Shifting Expanse. This happy, kind, nature-loving dragon who adores covering himself in plants as well as caring for them is lucky to have been rescued from exalting, and despite his somewhat “uninteresting” life story, is still quite the dragon to befriend, or at least know about.

Between the Gladeboughs on his shoulders and his own plumage, Flurish tends to leave behind trails of white leaves and feathers. His den is both the messiest and the most comfortable in the clan.
