Ayaka is the clan's scribe and historian. She is responsible for recording the history and happenings of the Poisondrip Lair and its residents. Her inclination as a pearlcatcher to "know its species to be the pinnacle of dragonkind," and "secure in the knowledge that she is at the top tier of that select species"* makes it easy to resist the embellishment of details when recording them. Mava trusts her to be factual, while Sunderskull (who has dealt with pearlcatchers in the past) relies on Nadja to double check some of Ayaka's more important work before submitting it into the clan's archives.
