Notes on Argas' Parasites

---

• Can only affect dragons weighing less than 5kg.
• Appear as an eye on the host's chest, directly over their heart. When the eye is open Argas can see through it. The eyes are usually kept shut.
• Feeds off small amounts of the host's magic reserves to sustain itself.
• Automatically infects and feeds off the host's eggs, leading to a 100% mortality rate amongst eggs formed by the hosts. Argas has no control over this.
• Render the host unable to be away from Argas without her permission, or for long periods of time.
• Makes the host unable to harm or betray Argas intentionally.
• Prevents the host from being able to warn non-infested dragons about the parasites.
• Has some element of mind control, but Argas seems to be unaware of this.
