Biography

Yudal's decision to leave home was not difficult to make. He didn't feel satisfied helping out his parents and siblings around the Stoneheart territory; Yudal wasn't a strong mage like his father, or able to stone sing like his mother, nor was he interested in following the same patrol paths like his sister, or delving into the crystal caverns under the lair like his brothers. No, Yudal did not want to live out his life in seclusion in the Cloudscrape Crags.

The first challenge was leaving the Southern Icefield. Yudal wasn't used to the hustle and bustle of larger clans, and trying to barter for passage on a ship was out of the question. He just didn't have the head for numbers or the patience to find an alternative that required help from someone else. That left the longer - and more dangerous - path of the ice floes linking his homeland to that of the Starfall Isles. Difficult, yes, but not impossible for someone with enough determination.

From there Yudal has wandered, preferring to keep to himself and the wilds. He was aware of the irony in his own seclusion, considering why he decided to leave home, but the chance to see the world... it was worth it.
