A divine dragon who is the discipline between the two rulers. Where Leon is the planner and strategist, it is Opalescent who carries out his words. Her strength is rivaled by none, and her overbearing yet regal nature has lead to very little opposition from rival factions. She was approached by Leon on the third year of travel towards the end of the world, her ability to enforce her will upon wily dragons greatly appreciated by the group's leader. She accepted only after hearing of Antarcticite's denial of the role and now holds her role to the highest degree of responsibility.

Greatly protective of Leon, who she considers her charge, she remains both his partner in decision making and his pseudo-guard. Should any dragon get through the Pawns, Rooks, Bishops, and Knights (as little of a chance that may be), they must finally face this grand Queen and all her blazing, bright glory. While she carries great strength, it is this very strength and her lack of understanding with the weak (despite all her pride and protectiveness over them) that has often led to humorous situations. One such situation is her inability to refuse children, and one can often see her great body being tumbled upon by young hatchlings.
