Annabelle grew up, as a fae, in an Arcane clan- which was as boring as clans come. Sure, it had its typical Arcane chaos, but for the most part, it was day-in, day-out boredom. She soon became best friends with her fellow clan member, Ripp, and they quickly became nearly inseparable. They got married, once they grew into adults and thought the time was right- neither dragon was particularly into romance as a concept, so they both decided just to tie the knot platonically. They were still in their old clan, at that point, and Anna was growing tired of the sleepy days. After a few chance encounters with diplomats and visits to the edges of the Scarred Wasteland, she started falling in love with many of the Plague flight's ideals.

She loved her flight, of course, but soon enough she and her husband split from the boredom of the clan into new things. They soon began traveling throughout Sornieth, quickly gathering up what would be the founding members of the Tribe of Cruor. She never entirely split from Arcane- most of her traveling is in the Isles- but, hey, nothing's really permanent with her, these days. Soon, her and Ripp had a child- a little girl they named Recital.

Now that she was certain that she would have someone to lead the Tribe, once Recital grew up into a young woman, she started her largest plan yet. There was talk of a new breed of dragon- Abberations. They were a rebellion against every single second of her quiet childhood, every single moment of relaxed certainty that she'd be in the same exact place tomorrow. And, there was quiet talk of a ritual to become one. That was what she was after. She found it, surprisingly fast, and with her husband flitting beside her, she read off the last incantation and transformed. She's never felt more herself in her entire life.
