Beyond the Nature Flight's ambassador - who is here for an obvious reason - Inkwell is an anomaly in Skintear Chasm. She tends to her plants which thrive both on her and in her strange alcove in the territory that's filled with greenery, all fed and grown from her magic. But what makes her strange is less her thriving in the generally barren Chasm, and more so what precedes her in her reputation: her pitch-black blood. She draws it along her pale and withered scales in patterns and symbols making it hard to miss, calling it "ink" - very much insisting that it is - and claiming consistently that it was changed "from leaf to ash" in a ritual she was a part of long, long ago. The truth of that could likely never be verified given how far she is now from Nature's farthest outskirts, let alone wherever there she actually came from within the territory, and how long that may've passed that stands between her and whoever she was with at the time.

Regardless of its origin, Inkwell uses her blood in rituals like her arcane partner, but in a completely different way. Where Tealeaf uses his blood liberally and literally, weaving it through the air like a Water dragon weaves water, Inkwell's uses are almost entirely theoretical - at least seemingly theoretical. She uses it to write symbols, in enchanting objects through complex diagrams and illustrations (and sometimes simply smearing objects with it), and in other arts such as soaking thread to literally weave and in blessing the ground before sowing seeds or before ceremonies and larger rituals. In addition, she tends to work with plants solely through burning them and "releasing" their spirits, which she implies is the "highest" form of Nature magic: using the very essence of Nature itself beyond its visible confines. She also implies this is honouring them, "freeing" them, but it's an art that's either very obscure or made up, since not even the scholars of the clan can back up the theory with suggestions, let alone in-depth explorations. Really, whether any of this actually works or not is debated amongst the more physical magic users in the clan, though the older ones tend to respect her work alongside those who use Lightning magic and magics involving technology, and it must be said: Epsilon keeps her and her partner in her upper-Chasm companions for a reason.
