Biography



Mycedon was raised by a wandering group of Beastclans - a mixed and tolerant group of individuals who travelled regularly across northern Sornieth and often took in foundlings of various species. Under their care he learned a range of very useful life skills, and frequently took interest in novel solutions to the challenges associated with catering for a wide range of diets during long treks across varied terrain. This interest was particularly prone to taking the form of bubbling cauldrons of thick, strangely-coloured soupy substances, which were eventually poured out and sun-dried into slabs which could be cut into mercifully scentless grey-brown rectangles.

In hindsight he knows that quite possibly a significant portion of the clan often wished that he hadn't taken such an interest, as his early experiments into food that could easily be sourced and stored under a range of conditions weren't typically very palatable. Fortunately his more recent work has progressed considerably and he has now developed a range of nutritious, convenient and sometimes even quite delicious foods which both dragons and beastclans now gladly buy from him rather than politely declining at every possible opportunity.

Mycedon is also enthusiastic about and reasonably skilled at more ordinary cooking techniques, which suits his welcoming nature well; a natural diplomat, there is nothing he likes more than an opportunity to cook a large meal and sit down to help mend a soured relationship between others he knows.
