Jonas

Notes:

- Jonas is a doctor who had left his birthplace in Dragonhome to study medicine in the Sunbeam Ruins. He's recently come to the Waste for Clan Madrigal in hopes of finding a cure for the disease they once faced - a sickness heavily interlaced with the Shade, its deadliness far too much for even plague dragons to handle. It was crafted by a dragon infested by the Shade, having long since lost himself to the enemy of dragonkind. He was presumed dead when their old territory had burned with him in the depths of the castle, but with the arrival of Jonas and his desperate plea for the clan's help, they have discovered he's still alive and is now attacking other regions.
- He works alongside Yersinia, who was also drawn to the clan after word of the Shade sickness spread. Yersinia, having survived plunging into the depths of the Wyrmwound (but not without unsightly complications), is eager to understand the disease that even the Plaguebringer's own children could barely face. Jonas is a little put off by Yersinia's eagerness, but the help is appreciated.
- Jonas frequently works himself to the point of complete exhaustion, knowing that every moment he spends looking for a cure, the disease is only spreading further. More than once he's been seen sleeping at his desk, reading glasses still on his face.
- Neerah has made a pact with him where they promise to get a healthy amount of sleep if Jonas agrees to do so as well. It hasn't worked out too well for either of them.
- Nisha and her summoned goetia-born Lazarus and Beelzebub are aiding in finding the cure. With otherworldly knowledge, Lazarus especially gives the team a leg up in their efforts.
- Drop-dead terrified of failing all of the people counting on him for a cure. It keeps him awake at night, haunting his dreams. He can only hope to get somewhere with his research before the plague spreads further. With the source still on the loose, he and everyone aiding him have to act quickly.
