Biography
He felt his blade embed itself into the neck of his opponent. Their golden eyes flashed briefly with the first initial spark of pain before their entire body slumped to the earth, Godbledden pulling free his sword with a sickening slick sound. It was tiring to kill... He could feel the blood covering her body, some parts drying and shedding away beneath his armor like scales in crimson flakes... And the stench of death, decay and p!ss was palpable from his wretched form, a visceral layer of complete sh!t.
Why was he doing this again?
He turns, just in time to catch a sword to the gut.
Normally, he wouldn't be caught out like this, but he was exhausted... Yes, that was his excuse.
For a moment, Godbledden cannot breathe. Then he responds by burying his dagger into his attacker's throat, her heart aching when the same roll of one's eyes confirms her kill. They fall to the ground in a pathetic heap while the sword is wrenched painfully free from Godbledden's wounded body. He sways where he stands and feels something within him snap.
This was it…
They finally were going to die.
She could just instinctively understand. Do not ask how, because she rather not explain.
So they began wandering through the battlefield, further away from the upheaval and pain, towards the quiet edges. Unknowingly to him, he was approaching what traveler's called 'World's End'—the slash in the earth supposedly caused by his sword. Godbledden chuckles then, blood frothing at her lips, recalling fondly all those whom he has loved. She looks up through bleary, weary eyes and spots a white tree. A small smile curls upon her lips then as he decides that this strange plant would make for a lovely gravestone.
When she reaches its base, she collapses, the strength to move finally leaving her like one giant gust of wind. Her head rolls to the side so she can peer at the starlit night sky. Once... Once he had resided there, with one whom will always hold his heart, no matter his own feelings.
Then there was the one whom he met after he had fallen, who had stolen him away with enchantment, wonder and beauty. With the love of flesh and touch, for all things visceral and pleasurable. A new life, a new way of experiencing the beauty of this universe. It was pleasant and nice when it had all happened... But now it was time for a new journey, whether she wished for it or not.
Part of Godbledden's heart ached. The other was satisfied with all that she had lived.
A soft sigh breathes past her lips as her eyes flutter shut, their heart following too.
Goodbye, Starshine... The brightest star of all...
