Hallgrim used to be a collection of stardust and magic energy, lacking a physical form as he traveled across the arcane territory by the winds that carried him. This was until he was summoned and conjured into flesh by Iris, a local witch. Although he has the body of a wildclaw, he is clearly distinct from the rest of the species due to his long ears, horns, and hide. His wings also differ from a normal dragon, as they seem to be filled with cosmic energy and move and blend together much like a liquid.

To show his gratefulness, Hallgrim offered his companionship to the lonely skydancer as thanks for giving him form. However, he can't help but admit that he loves to explore the land in his newly given body, so sometimes he will wander out on his own. He always tries to coax Iris to join him, but she refuses every time, citing her fear of the world that has come to despise her. Hallgrim, as foolhardy as one could be, perceived that not as a hindrance, but as a challenge. While he does like to wander and explore the territory while he's away, Hallgrim also considers it his mission to see to it that Iris' reputation is repaired. In secret, he will ask those he meets if they require anything that he knows Iris would be able to create, then return back to the witch and ask for it as though it were for himself. Given it was a request from her companion, she agrees, not knowing he will turn around and give it to the dragon who requested it, telling them it was from Iris. Slowly but surely, he is building respect toward the skydancer within the community and may soon be able to convince Iris that the world is not as cruel as she currently thinks. |

| His dedication towards his summoner is truly admirable, and on their own, the two quickly became great friends. Hallgrim will often tease Iris and act as though he were an annoying sibling, and Iris would either pretend she didn't hear him or fire back with a quip of her own. The wildclaw is also willing to help her with any resources she needs to scavenge for either their own survival or her craft, so long as Hallgrim is able to watch and learn from her witchy activities. He's truly fascinated with the art of magic - considering he was created from it - and perhaps one day, he'd like to become a practitioner of magic alongside Iris. However, he needs to get the locals to accept such an occupation first! |
