She had my red eyes. She had my glittering, beautiful scales. She had my fierce stripes. She was born when I was able to touch humid air of the wasteland.

Oh? Who's the 'she' we are talking about? ... Who was she? Did she really exist?

Yes, indeed! We played together until our dad with pretty, colorful eyes scolded us. We slept together. We ate together. We helped each other learn to fly. There was no 'I' or 'you'. The big dragons never gave us names, because they said it's pointless to be named when the they couldn't tell us apart.

No, no. That was just my imagination. An imaginary friend. She never played with me, because she wasn't really there to begin with! I was too childish to accept that. But why?

Why is the memory of her so vivid if she didn't exist at all?
