Biography
-Professional deep sea diver and marine combat officer. Prefers teaching over active duty. Her hours range from extreme fishing one day and teaching hatchlings how to tread water and hold their breath the next.
-Delphi was born with more abilities besides her unique eyes. Gills and fins that let her breathe underwater and a bulb of light to attract prey and warn her of danger. Her eyes let her see through murky rivers and the darkest of depths. Whether its salt or fresh or pure silt, she can swim through it.
-Delphi herself is actually quite picky about what she eats. She puts her skills to use and can dive down, swim fast and long enough to catch prey that many never see before. She'll trade these sought-out expensive seafood items for meat and insect dishes of equal value. Her favorite meat item is seals.
- Every Wavecrest Saturnalia she takes the journey to her birth clan and stays for the whole event. Part of it is reconnecting with her roots but she is also one of many who try to traverse the depths in search of the Tidelord. She wasn't born yet when he disappeared but it's clearly important to the elders of her birth-pool. She's not the only one who helps out but they mostly do it so the older scribes and prophets do not feel so alone, she doesn't actually think the Tidelord will return anytime soon.
-The one type of meat she wont eat is dolphins. Too many summers of her childhood were spent swimming with them, she thinks of them as friends and playmates not food.
