Origins

Tintoval came to join the Clan of Hunter's Glen long before it was known as such, back when it occupied the Flamecaller's domain. He was sent away from his birth Clan at a young age due to his odd pale plumage; his family feared he was ill and would pass his sickness on to them or his siblings. He did not have to wander long before he stumbled across a group of dragons moving from the Shadow Flight. They gladly took Tintoval in, and in return he helped guide them to a suitable place to settle down.
Personality

Tintoval is and always has been rather reserved, preferring the company of his familiar and his work to socializing with his clanmates; not out of any hostility, but a simple enjoyment of his craft. He was cast out of his birth Clan at a young age due to his pale feathers leading others to fear he was ill, but has never held much resentment towards them for this. He is happy now, after all, and found a place and life where he can be happy.

He is a bit of a perfectionist and has high expectations of himself and his apprentices, but isn't incapable of compassion or understanding. He greatly enjoys blacksmithing and working metal and flame to create things, be they weapons, jewelry, or items as simple as nails and hinges. Tintoval approaches every project with the same level of care and consideration, no matter its import. It is what, in his opinion, separates a master smith from a regular one. Not talent or experience - although those are certainly important - but effort, and a willingness to put time into their work.
