63969375.png ❝ Sweetleaf ❞
— the traveling teamaker . . .

For Gaolers, inheriting blossom can be both a blessing and a curse. The blooms that adorn their shaggy hides are symbionts, almost parasites, that sustain themselves to the detriment of their own draconic host. The instant their needs aren't met they dig their roots in deep to find the nourishment they crave, inanimately disregarding the wellbeing of the Gaoler they live upon. Those who deal with blossoms must carefully tend them to avoid such a fate; perhaps, this is the reason it is so difficult to obtain them willfully.

Sweetleaf's hide was blooming from the moment she hatched. Her blossoms took the form of tea plants in every shape and size, earning her the name she wears to this day. Her parents, both bearing blossoms themselves, quickly taught her how to care for the dangerous flora she harbored in her hide. They showed her how to water them and told her how often she had to sunbathe to keep each bud content. In return, the plants lent their flavorful leaves to her use in teamaking, a trade she quickly grew to love.

Sweetleaf has earned herself a reputation as a living teacart. She carries pots and cups with her at all times, hanging them from her horns and wings. Passerby on the road can ask her for a drink and she'll gladly oblige, using the plants on her own back as the foundation of a number of delicious brews. A kind soul, she loves to help refresh the weary dragons she meets on her travels. It's likely she'll never truly leave the journeying life behind for how much joy it gives her, though she's not opposed to finding a place to settle down. Perhaps there's a clan out there that's just as weary, and that would appreciate her tea just as much...
