Canopy

As you stumble into the gardens, you feel the old branches creak. As you continue, you notice two lively creatures going around, weaving through the branches which you stand on, they dart around with no sighn of tiring anytime soon.

You take one more step and then the branches under you break and you fall through. As you come to, you look up and see light shining through, a hole lay up there from where you fell. You get to your feet and look around, its filled with plants that usually are found in darker areas, you see glowing mushroom light this place. You catch sight of a few familiars watering the plants.

It seems as though this place is just an extension of the giant garden. You see I bigger figure crawl in through the hole where you fell through, its wings open up to reveal a beautiful green. The wings block out the light, you watch as those two familiars dart around and start fixing up the hole, the dragon fully slinks down towards you. The hole completely fixed, the two familiars slip through the branches and land on the dragons shoulder.

The dragon lifts its body up and the two sails on its head opens up, its green eyes staring you down.

"Woah, are you okay? That was quite a fall, do you need any bandages?" The dragon says in a worried tone
You shake your head

"Okay, thats good, you probably saw my familiars fixing the top, huh?" She says with a proud expression
The familiars hop down and link their arms together and bow

"Oh they're so polite, their names are Li and Ly. Oh! And my name is Canopy" she says with a warm smile

"Well welcome to my gardens, all creatures get along here, at least I hope so. You are welcome to explore it all, the familiars and I work soooo hard on keeping it healthy. You know, its an honor that the queen gave me a high rank, I pretty much run the kingdom, it is so gracious of her. Oh oh, plus its just amazing seeing dragons visting, I just enjoy it and-..."
You start tuning her out as you look around and see how pretty and well kept the gardens are, she seems like she hasnt talked to another dragon in months.

"Well I just- hey, you listening? Oh, I suppose Im rambling on, I dont get to talk to many visitors. Im always busy, but I bet you want to look around a bit more, I wont keep you any longer. Enjoy your day!" She says with a little sadness in her tone

You wave to her and she waves back, you start walking away and go to look at the plants in the garden.
