cedric is highly sensitive- both to dragons on this plane of existence and the next. he’s able to communicate with those that have passed on, and can act as a vessel for the dead to communicate with the living- though he doesn’t particularly enjoy being possessed, but often can’t say no. he’s always incredibly busy with work, finding there is a seemingly neverending queue of dragons that wish to speak to the other side, but cedric always perseveres as he truly enjoys bringing some comfort to his village. he’s generally a cheerful dragon, though he worries a lot. not about anything in particular- but it’s essentially a cedric ‘trademark’ to be concerned about one thing or another, even if it doesn’t involve him. he’s quite a homebody, and loves nothing more than losing himself in a good book, finding it distracts him from the constant whispers of dragons passed. he has a fairly wide circle of friends, due to his good nature and kindness, and loves them dearly. he’s easy to befriend, really, as he finds strangers fascinating- he loves hearing stories from faraway lands, and learning about customs and places he’s never been. his familiar, a serthis who calls himself io, considers cedric a friend rather than colleague. when the pair met, cedric went to great lengths to learn the language of serthis, and as a result the two are able to communicate quite well, though they tend to enjoy each other’s company in companionable silence, occasionally sharing a good book recommendation. |
