"I dont understand why my sibling adorn them selves with jewels and fancy clothes what is wrong with something simple" thought Hemiptera she slipped out of the cave were some dragons were sleeping it was late at night and she knew she risked getting caught but she ignored it what was going to happen she would get in trouble that's all she shrugged plus punishments were not all that bad maybe she would have to tell the lair what she had done, have to cook something, or watch the little ones those weren't as bad Ragid )who is the leader) doesn't like to punish anybody and made that one of the strict rules she stopped thinking when she noticed she was at Vaughan's cave she rapped at the slab of stone covering the cave entrance hole "move out of the way" said a voice Hemiptera looked at the hole on the side of the cave vaughans blue shiny face stuck out of it a "move out of the way i dont want ta hit ya you know" he grinned their was some shuffling and then the slab tilted back "eurghff sorry" he said as the slab of rock was lofted and moved to the side "come on in" he motioned hemiptera walked through "its not very.... tidy" she said trying to force a smile
he looked down and then back up at her "yes im well aware" she looked around at the small cave it was filled with scrolls to the left and right some paper was shredded on the floor and an open ink bottle was pouring on a open book which had sketches of dragons on it in it "now here is the scroll you wanted" he handed over a thin brittle scroll that had gold on the tips of the scroll "thank you Vaughan" she said "you might want to clean this up a tad bit more" she motioned around the cave with a smug look on her face "anyway thank you for giving me this i should get heading back"she rushed out of the cave holding the scroll under her cloak as she silently crept through the small forest that surrounded most of the community
suddenly something wizzed pass her face she turned around instinctively "well well well look who it is" taunted a tiny voice "miss pitch perfect out on a walk" she narrowed her eyes "your not on guard" their was silence "i could still tell everybody that you snuck out" Hemiptera knew what wold happen to dragons younger then her if they escaped or went out at night "if you say you found me then what about you"? their was silence again and the voice was gone she continued walking to her den a nice snug hole in the earth near the far right of their territory inside of the den was lights to worship the Lightweaver small little amber droplets were around the cave like little fireflys she sat in her cave an opened up the scroll it was about how the gods came to be and the betrayal of Arcane she sat they and read until the sky started to turn a light shade of blue she went over the bed she had and it was filled with feathers from animals she had hunted the outside was just a rough fabric she needed to change her basilisk was sitting on the corner of the bed sleeping when she got on the bed he woke up for a moment but quickly went to sleep as she dozed off the morning grew light an the sun was high in the sky when she woke up - TO BE CONTINUED
