Personality and Mindset
Illusionary is a dragon of few words. She doesn't enjoy talking to others unless it is necessary for their interaction. She finds that the silence is violent, violent enough to gain the respect she deserves and to execute her job. The quiet is ideal within both her job and her lifestyle, keeping her under most dragons radars, making it much easier to eavesdrop in the corner and for others to forget her existence. Even when she fights she is dead quiet, making every battle with her eerie and seem unnatural, often scaring the opponent more than her ability to make them regret their life decisions and the force of her claws. She often likes to hide in the shade where it is safe and secure, letting her darker colors hide within them. She knows very well that she has a lighter color to her, and so she uses the shadows to help counter that. She is quick on her feet and very agile in both battle and travel. She doesn't slow down for anybody. She is observant and takes in her targets behaviors and fighting style as much as she can before striking. She is skilled with assassination as well and is tough when it comes to interrogation, so she is both difficult to subdue and to break. She has trained for enduring pain in case she is ever caught. Despite being a sneaky trickster and a deadly welder of silence, she is rather polite and respectful to her superiors and doesn't demand much of them besides a good amount of gold as payment. She does value her skills and she does intend to pay the bills with them, and so she does have some considerate prices that vary depending on the job and its difficulty. She doesn't do much of anything for free, only when she really feels like it. She isn't a complete criminal, but just enough to neutralize her demeanor and impression on others. She is never always in one spot. Turn your back on her and she is most likely going to run off while you aren't looking. She doesn't stick around for any longer than she needs too.
She is also good with sign language since she doesn't talk much, and this can help hide her tracks when exchanging information in front of prying eyes. She does not risk doing it in front of others often though, just in case they already know the language or are quick enough learners to figure it out on their own. She often talks to Aquara and her daughter using sign language, glad to have another quieter dragon around. Their interactions are often brief and revolve around what Eigrigg is up to and how they are able to thwart her plans. Although Illusionary thinks the disputes between Eigrigg and Aquara are petty, she helps Aquara get her information anyway for the weekly paycheck. That's all she cares about or wants from those two.
