Trees have been looked at in myriad ways by dragons over the span of time. Some see them as something to be cleared or utilized, others see them as something to worship, and yet others don’t ever seem to see them at all. But one little pearlcatcher sees trees as a perfect form of life.

Ozette knows she is a dragon, but she would much rather be a tree spirit. Her passion in life has been learning everything she can about dryads and attempting to find one for herself. While that hasn’t happened yet, Ozette doesn’t mind too much. She’s kept busy enough caring for her tree.

While not soul-bonded to it like a dryad would be, Ozette has claimed the biggest, most ancient tree in the lair's territory as her charge. She does everything she can to take care of it, and lives in it most of the time. While the ‘dryad’ will occasionally let little ones climb - those who aren’t heavy enough to damage the lower branches - she won't let anyone else even try. She’s too worried about losing even a single twig.

Ozette can be a bit intense, but she means well. And she takes great joy in teaching others about all the different types of trees that inhabit the woods of Chaotic Daydreams. She may never be the type of creature she dreams of being, but that doesn’t mean she can’t be something just as good in other ways.
