Biography
The day that Xephras came upon this clan, he could tell that something was different.
That was no surprise, he got this feeling a lot when running into clans. Some were fated for prosperity, others for a nice, humble life. But this one was going to be overwhelmed soon, if something wasn't done to stop it. He couldn't tell just how or what it was, but he knew that they needed his help.
His first thought of whatever doom could be brought upon them was going to be because of their leaders instant trust of any dragon. Most sensible dragons take one look at Xephras and treat him with suspicion, but this Tybal character let him right on in. But to his surprise, he found no doom in any of the dragons that joined.
It took almost a year until Xephras was overcome with terrifying dreams and visions filled with horrors and death. They went on for a total of five days, and on the evening of the fifth, two eggs hatched. Out came a very normal wildclaw that would live a dutiful life, and the other, an imperial with unsettling eyes and a dark aura that seemed to stick to his feathers.
Nothing has ever stopped Xephras from completing his role in fate, an he'd like to keep it that way. Even if it meant bringing harm upon this young dragon. He just had to wait for the right time, so that it won't be so devastating to this simple clan.
But maybe there were other options, in the form of a spiral with a gift, an intelligent mirror, and a pearl catcher that gets brought along for the ride. Xephras hasn't ever thought about using such things as 'friendship' to solve his problems, it sounded like a load of nonsense to him, so he'll be surprised if this could possibly work out like this path tells him it will.
After all, it never hurts to try.
