Born into the world completely mute, Dez was an only child, and as such was raised well, spoiled often, and it went without saying he had it all. In the event where his parents were both slaughtered by a cult of Vhexis worshipers, Dez fled for his life. The boy grew up in Charming, always in hiding. Something about him drew those people in, and he had no idea what or why. When he was 12, he figured out his oddities. While completely unable to talk, he was very inept at mental communication, like that of a Hydra. His range was not great, and he was only capable of talking for short periods of time before he grew tired and needed to rest.

The closer he is to who he's speaking to the easier it is on his whole being. If he presses his head to someone else's its his way of speaking intimately and also the only real means his gift gives to transfer memories.

Traumatized, Dez usually resides in cities for short periods of time usually jumping from place to place frequently. He resides in Inns for nothing longer than a week, before moving on to his next area of hide. Despite the fact that his stalkers are likely nearly all dead, he's paranoid and afraid of most people.
