the Plague Knight stalks its prey until nothing is left,
but flesh and bone.
The flesh then rots.
It slips from the bone, as it loses hold.
It turns to mold.
A sickness lurks. Roaming door to door.
It germinates within the air by particle and spore.
Breath in the putrid filth.
Breath out the contagion.
There is no elation,
as the plague spread.
Punctuated by piles and piles of dead.
The cycle of decay continues evermore.
Boils and aching sore that you can't ignore.
A fury and fever fester across the land.
Just entropy with a helping hand.
