Jiro

Councilman Jiro is the head of the council and rules over the clan with a bit of an iron fist. The council has a bit of an issue with getting things done and Jiro is the root of that. You see, before Jiro took over as the head of the council, all decisions were decided with a vote. If the vote ended with a tie, the head of the council would chose which side was the true winner. Under Jiro's control, whatever he says goes. He could come up with the worst idea ever but there is nothing the rest of the council can do to stop him. Several of the council members have begun to defy him in little ways. Refusing to pass some of the food prepared for their meetings, ignoring Jiro's greetings, just little things that would get on someone's nerves. At first, Jiro would simply replace the council members who did this but that all changed when Lilac joined the council. You see, Lilac new about something the other council members did not. She knew about Jiro's wife, Furystrike. Jiro and Furystrike are forbidden lovers, two high ranking dragons but unable to publicly announce their marriage due to their different social class. Jiro is a council man, above even the royalty of their clan and Furystrike is just a noble. If they were to announce their love, it wouldn't be as bad as if Jiro married some simple carpenter but it wouldn't be great either. When Lilac confronted Jiro with knowledge of his secret marraige, Jiro was shocked that someone had found out. Lilac threatend to tell the public about Furystrike if Jiro tried to replace anyone on the council for a small reason ever again. There wasn't much Jiro could do, so he vowed never to do it again. Now, Jiro lives in constant fear that he'll do something Lilac doesn't like and that his seceret will become public knowledge.
