For every great ruler, there are shadows who whisper in their ears, who guide them in the way of the old. In the Aetherwave, there is no such better one than Sigma. The eldest and the wisest of the Brilliant Tutors, personal advisers to the ruling nobles, she takes great pride in her her many lieges, especially her latest, the Prince of Light. No one knows why she is still here. Sublimation comes for Aetherborn after around 300 years and yet the Fateweaver has lived twelve times as much. If asked, she simply smiles and says the dust clouds have no use for her yet, that her place belongs in the halls of the palace forever. She has raised many kings and queens and has seen what folly they end up in. It is always her place to unwind their wrongs and offer their guilt to whoever is next in line. There is no room for rest in her soul, especially not now, when the King's greatest folly is his own existence. To the rest of the Brilliant Tutors, she is a conniving, mysterious dragon who always finds ways for others to play into her plans. Her skills of deception extend past her hobby of sleight of hand magic and card games, for no one can tell if she speaks the truth. In her ageless wisdom, each of her sentences sound like proverbs but in reality, she simply takes great pleasure in seeing their confused faces. To her, the nonsensical the better. Despite this strangeness, her powers of fortunetelling are known far and wide. Her title, Fateweaver, comes from her ability to see glimpses of the future. It was the reason, all those years ago, that she joined the Brilliant Tutors. As for the current reign, the truth is that she is running the Aetherwave more so than King Mirror. The boy, while already a third of her age, has seemingly not grown up in the slightest. She has no contempt for him, only disappointment, for when she was brought to the Light Springs a millennia ago to commemorate his birth, she had seen great promise in him. She constantly wonders where she went wrong and now, with Prince Spotlight, she wants to rectify that mistake. ╘══════════════════════●○●══════════════════════╛ |
