Algae

Smart and thoughtful, Algae takes care of all the documentation regarding the Ark's patients. He also helps inspect and diagnose them alongside Koi. He actually prefers studying plants to animals but was dragged along by Koi due to his vast knowledge of biology. He's making the best of it though. He keeps his own collection of plants on the ship and dives down to check up on the barnacles clinging to the hull every so often. He also takes interest in any local flora of the places that they visit.

Algae's charge is Kyuu, though he can be a bit shy about it. He has learned to be a bit more relaxed and affectionate, though physical contact is still something he's not really used to. Kyuu takes delight in pecking and nuzzling him, at which he'll turn bright red but won't stop her.
