Although the clan doesn't use a lot of heavy machinery, they have come to depend on the food storage coolers, obtained after their move to Light territory. Bond was a wanderer until he stumbled into the clans Nature Magi, Starfall. When the storage coolers began to fail, he zapped them to life and has been a permanent fixture ever since.

Bond likes to tinker in his spare time. He loves giving presents to Starfall, even if Starfall does not appreciate them in the least. At first they had a lovely rivalry, since Starfall loves all of nature and nothing of the mechanical world, but Bond, being a clever spiral, figured out the best way to incorporate his mechanical whimsy into her magical environment.
