Chioru

Chioru was a Keeper for the Icewarden, living in the ward of Fortress of Ends.
She guarded the lesser Shade creatures imprisoned in the mid-levels, and though she was sworn by duty to her master, she felt like there was more to life than living in this bleak, stifling palace.
She confessed her dismay, and was quickly exiled as a traitor to the tribe.
Alone, and confused, she traveled throughout Sornieth, cautious due to a life used to imprisonment and rigid rules.

In the forests of Starwood Strand, she came across a small, pathetic Fae, Fryrsi, and decided then and there that her lifes purpose was to protect this small wyrm.
She has followed and loved Fryrsi ever since, and is now the Eldress (Aide to the Queen) of the StarWorm Clan.



Zuzzen

Chioru was content with spending her days with Fryrsi and doing her Aide duties, but Fate had other plans.

On her daily walk through the forest, gathering materials and food for the Clan hatchlings, she caught sight of a male Gaoler, intensely staring at the glistening foliage that littered the forest floor.
His strong dark wings blocked his view of her, and she stood and watched silently, curiously as he moved the glowing ferns from side to side.
When he finally noticed her, he barraged her with questions about the ecology of the local botanical mutations, and proceeded to follow her back to the Clans epicenter.

Chioru, who had assessed him as not a threat (and also incredibly annoying and persistent), had him meet with Fryrsi who immediately invited him into the StarWorm Clan.

He named himself Zuzzen, and slowly... slowly... slowly... Chioru warmed to him and his eccentricities, effectively inviting him and his love into her life.
